From his early days as an expatriate in Belgium and Italy, Robert Ryan developed a lasting passion for global engagement. After a 35-year career in the U.S. high-tech industry, that passion would prove to be a strategic asset in shaping the global impact of business. Today, he draws from a deep reservoir of experience gained through decades of leadership roles—including Vice President of Sales, CEO, and COO—to inform his work as a Strategic Advisor to startups and as a Professor of International Management, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship.

Robert’s expertise spans multiple industries and includes significant experience working with Global Fortune 1000 companies across Healthcare, Security, Enterprise IT, and Mobile Systems. His career includes leadership roles at market-leading organizations such as IBM, GRiD Systems, and Dun & Bradstreet. He is widely recognized for building high-performance teams and for his contributions to customer acquisition strategies, leadership development, and global market expansion.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Baylor University.
