Robert Ryan is a university professor dedicated to helping students and organizations navigate the dynamic intersection of technology, business, and education. Before transitioning to academia, he spent over 40 years in the high-tech industry, where he specialized in Database Management Systems (DBMS), high-level programming languages, and led initiatives that brought cutting-edge technologies into practical, real-world applications.

His professional career included designing scalable data systems, developing enterprise software, and managing cross-functional technology teams across various sectors. He also completed advanced coursework in Artificial Intelligence, equipping him to contribute meaningfully to contemporary discussions on intelligent systems, data ethics, and automation.

Robert’s teaching and mentorship are rooted in the belief that students succeed when classroom learning is connected to real-world challenges. His courses regularly incorporate industry case studies, experiential projects, and AI-powered tools to explore both the foundational and applied dimensions of artificial intelligence.

Beyond teaching, he remains actively engaged in research and curriculum development focused on applied technology, data-driven decision-making, and promoting AI literacy among business students.
